A Frog's Life

Would it be fun to be a frog?
Think you'll like it? What could go wrong?
You would hop around everywhere you went,
Living life with your knees always bent.
Your skin can be many different colors,
You would croak instead of a haller.
Your favorite snacks will be bugs,
Catching them only with your tongue.
Your home is anywhere you want it to be,
You could live up in a tree.
Or how about on the ground?
Be careful there, cause you're easily found.
When your peacefully sleeping,
Your predators could be creeping.
So hide really good at night,
That's when some animals come out for a bite!
A hawk, an owl, or even an eagle,
Will be out and about for more than a mingle.
There's also foxes, snakes, and raccoons.
A frog is one of their favorite foods.
So sleep with one eye always open,
Then nothing can eat you, at least you are hoping.
