A Friends End
Farewell my beloved friend, I'll be with you until the end
Two hearts, two minds, we all must be, whatever it is the world will see
My swirling mind is playing games throughout the night and working dames
Seeing you fly through my dreams does brighten up the shining beams
So seek me out, put me to the test, let me be and let me rest
For it's you I see among the trees and I see you bend upon your knees
An apparition they might exclaim but it's only me who can make the claim
Working hard throughout phase, keeps you in a sweeping chase
My time has gone, memories galore, waiting to hear you ask for more
Lift my spirits see them jumping, lots of adrenalin has me thumping
Heart strings tug and love does bind, two loving people in the same mind
Please let go of the passing tide for all to see and have some pride.
