A Friend Trusts

Hello, stand up, come for a walk, 
Tell me about what’s going on,
Tell me what’s on your mind today, 
The drama that has just gone,

The thoughts you think everyone thinks, 
What you think others all say,
And your feelings about each of these thoughts, 
These thoughts that’re eating away,

You suspect of a plot said against you, 
Or a plot against someone you know,
You’re a bit suspicious of your peers, 
Thoughts hidden in each empty hello,

Just remember that I’m always here, 
That I’ll always support what you do,
And know that I will always believe one person, 
And that one person is you.
