A Friend of Mine Asked Me
A friend of mine asked me
"How do you meet a man I'm lonely"
I told her "you can meet a man anywhere"
"you can meet him in the library"
"you can meet him at a bus stop"
She meet a man at a bus stop
within a week he had her facing court
a passenger in a stolen can
The next time a friend of mine asks
I'm going to say you can meet a man
at university in a school as you learn
you meet a man that's also learning
You can meet a man
with dreams of building a career
follow the path to your career
and you'll meet a man on the road.
