Over the years, I have had many a friend,
some are just people I know and others are true;
my true friends I trust and are loyal to the end,
we have no hidden secrets and are stuck like glue.
I like a storyteller- a talker of tales,
where we are left laughing, weeping, or biting nails;
a person who listens and pays attention to hear,
my poetry- and gives an opinion sincere.
I found a true friend right here- who is not pretend,
and discovered we write like one but we are two;
our connection is so strong and never fails,
she is a friend and treasure, that I met right here.
