A Friend
We may have only just met
But my feelings seem so true
I think that I have now
Found a friend in you
You always make me laugh
You brighten up my day
You understand my thoughts
And know exactly what to say
Your attitiude brings me joy
Whenver you talk to me
I think we're becoming good friends
And that's what I hope to be
So in a way for me to say thanks
I'm writing this poem for you
Let's let our friendship grow
And to each other let's always be true
