A Friend

She’s the one I tell everything,
She’s not there for my birthday, Christmas, Easter,

She’s the one I admire;
I don’t think she admires me.

She’s the one who brings me happiness:
Do I bring her happiness?

Do I need her more than she needs me?
I’ll not call her,
She’s always busy,

Yet:
She does make time,
Calls me back when I’ve told her there’s trouble,
Invites me to hers for the day,
Not to her home,
To coffee shops,
We sit out of the rain and she makes me feel:
Crazy,

She makes me feel scatty
She makes me feel funny,

She makes me feel ME

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
