A Foot Alone - Rondelet

A foot alone
tries the water that ocean lays,
A foot alone
on sand placed within God's tears moan;
still the spray imprints on my face —
forgiving this tide that won't stay,
A foot alone

Rhythmic like waves of the ocean. A nice one I somehow missed

The waves in the ocean won't rise more than a foot. You are trying out all forms of poetry. Great.
