A Fools Turn

It might be to late to apologize & maybe,
I was a fool for ever leaving your side.

Life for me has taken a fools turn for the
worst but, i'll consider it a lesson learned.

Having to say good bye to you, trying to
sound concerned with out getting my heart

burned too. Saying the truth was something
I would rather not have to do. It wasn't easy

for me to leave and walk away from you. I took
a fools turn and changed the way my heart yearns

now, it no longer squirms, when I talk to you.
I may have been a fool or maybe a fool in love

but, my turn is over, my love will no longer hover
over your head as this fools turn has come end and

you'll never be let in again.
