A Fly In My Poetry Soup

There’s a fly in my poetry soup
It turquoise tries to throw me for loop

With negative Nancy words of discontent
Or fuschia fancy lines littered dissent

Poetry Soup is for friends for fun
Lighten up you’re under gold sun

Be green seed no need to be a gun
Firing off rudely red notes to anyone

I learned my lesson in faith
Let the negative Nancy fade

For there will come a denim day
They’ll meet their own match hurray

Yup. Sooner or later, everyone gets a fly on his/her screen. Just wipe it off, block it out, and resume your journey in this, our Garden of Eden... ~ Gershon

Amen to 'fancy litter' bound for rim-shot receptacles! ~ "Two men looked thru prison bars, one saw mud, the other- stars." - Dale Carnegie ~ Thanks for the reminder. ~ Keep looking up!
