A Flower

Such a beautiful flower I hoped to find
to gather your affections to close bind
but no such flower could I find
Instead, I plucked these words from mind
I thought about this flower and the hour
in which the time will grant
a gift from me to you, creating lover's slant
ohh, much time did come to pass
before I saw myself as ass
       undoing my desire
better you are than my passion's fire
for without the fuel the fire dies
for this, the flower in my eyes, to you fails to compare
but the flower within you, to show my care
is the object I must find
to watch and help you grow and myself to you must bind
So I'm still looking for this flower
but no longer but an hour
do I hope to see my thoughts and desires become reality.
I look for flower within you, what will you find in me?
