A Fish Out of Water is Dead

A fish out of water is dead, unlike the famous expression where it just means uncomfortable. Fish can’t survive without water. Water is survival for fish- a fish out of water is dead. Their small gills fill with oxygen- that is how they breathe in and out. The fishes' food is in water algae- red, green, brown, other fish. A fish out of water is dead, cause water means food, food is life. It may be home to predators, it may host gatherings for trash, humans might go fishing there, but a fish out of water is dead.
