A Few Poems Later
As I look back at my poems it's like a diary
as the pages turn it's funny to see how my emotions changed
My wants and my needs are as different as the seasons
but the way he makes me feel is something unique
like a hidden prophecy that sprung up and surprised me
my heart was seaching and I never knew i'd find someone like this
He completes me immediately and i[m fullfilled exceeding my limits.
I never could have guessed that I would be lying on his chest
hearing his heart beat.
the fact that he belongs to me makes me so giddy.
God sent him and I truly thank him
Even if this is another test one that will hurts worst than the rest
I will have been glad I experienced it
I will be glad because I needed this
This feeling I have is so profound
Dad if only you were here
can you see how happy I am now?
