A Fat Cat

A FAT CAT

I have a cat
the cat is fat
I know, I know
I can’t say that

but she is plump
from head to rump
a slowly breathing
furry lump

I touched the cat
she hissed and spat
I guess because
I called her fat

A shiny lazer
didn’t faze her
I doubt she’d move
if I tazed her

Perhaps I’m just
a little bitter
cuz I just changed
her “kitty” litter

I loved this one. I think silly stuff like this can be so FUN to read. Much better than a long boring serious poem! GREAT job. Was it for the Seuss contest by chance?

No again Andrea...I think this is more of a Shel Silverstein model.
