A Far Forgotten Place
There is nothing for me in this life,
Nothing more than tears and existence.
As long as I’m alive on this small planet,
I will never tread a happy footstep.
God must surely know my poor lot,
As I remember those who left me behind.
My tears flow so very heavy within,
Please end this suffering, I beg of you.
I cannot take this small excuse for life,
Though small as it is, it is all I have.
Sweet Jesus must have understood this pain,
If alive he was, I really need to know.
Somewhere out there she is living,
Without her I am a useless vessel.
Nothing I have is worth anything at all,
Without her I will die an eternal death.
If the end does not come of free will,
Then its’ frustration I may undertake.
I will hold myself accountable,
Can God and I make peace in another place?
No one can understand how sad I feel,
To me life feels a burden without luxury.
With it I would gladly part on any given day,
My path is written in a far forgotten place.
