For Line Gauthier's Bite Size 94 Poetry Contest
This is an excerpt of an old autumn poem of mine that I revised for Line's contest.
_____________________________________________________________
At fall's end, I breathe her colors in and sigh.
Unleashed, I soar with leaves, for it's a thrill
to taste chill wind and dance into the sky.
Unclad and glad, I swirl with clouds until
I drift through mist. Farewell to all of this.
Winter soon will bring my lips its snow-wet kiss.
