A Fairy's Tale

Once upon a time in a far away land lived
a shy and awkward girl named Amelia.
She only had one friend by the name of
Louis.
He was a descendant of fairies. His great,
great,great grandparents were flood blooded
fairies. They had magical powers and they
had beautiful wings and they could fly real
high in the sky. Louis and Amelia got along
really well because they both were shy and
 awkward.
Amelia wanted to meet and fall in love
with a handsome Prince. She was unaware
that her best friend Louis thought she
was beautiful and secretly in love with her.
“ Hi Louie how are you doing today?”
Louis looked at Amelia all googly eyed
and said” I'm good Amelia. What do you
want to do today?”
“Let's go to the river and have a swim?”
“Ok, I would follow you anywhere."
And all of a sudden Amelia knew she had
met her Prince and he was her best friend
Louis.
But how in the world could she tell Louie
of all people how she felt.
Then all of a sudden she looked at
Louis and saw that he had changed
right before eyes .
He was glowing and he had grew wings.
“ Louis I thought you said that fairy thing
had skipped you?”
“ I thought it had, I'm just as surprised
as you are. Amelia I'm gonna be able to
fly and do cool things. When I learn how
all this stuff works. Will you come fly with
 me?”
“Of course I will silly, I will fly with you
anywhere.”
And in that moment he knew that Amelia felt
the same way he did. And they lived happily
 ever after .

I see that you really were 'winging it' with this one! … It's so cute that I could just pinch its cheek, (so to speak). Bye now / I've got a plane to catch. ~ Gershon

I pronounce this utterly adorable! Very good writing, Alexis. I haven't an idea yet, but I'm always marinating on these things. If your story were illustrated, wouldn't the pics be splendid, I'm thinking very colorful and enchanting. Poetry hugs ... CayCay
