A Fairy Queen
In a tale, long ago, there was a fairy queen
With magic wand, fairy dust, she was meant to clean
From out of the forest the many witches’ mean
To rid the dark shadows, and make it ever green
She dwelled under the mountain in a deep ravine
And only in the moonlight was she ever seen
One night she came upon a hidden figurine
Of a princely image that had long been unseen
He was handsome, and had a likeness most serene
With a gentle kiss, she broke the curse that had been
And from that day on he pledged his love to his queen.
