A Failed Message
Their flags are waving
Ancient thoughts, preserved
By a tradition
Of exciting men.
The tales of hate
Are being worn proudly
On the hip, of words
Come protests. Defined
By weapons to boast,
With trinkets and masks
They search for a ghost.
They buy his butter
As he steals their toast.
