A Fading Star
My star, fading
In the cold light,
of a new day
Flashes of green
Flashes of blue
Fading,
nothing to be seen
Lost in light
Drowned in a sun,
waiting for night
You cannot see,
what you cannot find
a fading star
At could be you,
it could be me
Deepening sky,
emerging night
Flashes of blue
Flashes of green
My star light
Star bright
in a sky, filled with night
Filled with me
Filled with you
Lost in star light
