A Eulogy for the Toxic Ex

A hundred thoughts echo through my mind
A hundred emotions I cannot unwind
3000 yearnings, 9000 turns of regret
Walking in the shadow of death

I walk slowly with a cold mind and angery heart
At the crossroads I take the broken sigh
Waiting as I wait for the one to show up
To die

I plot the death with poisonous malice
Waiting and watching, hoping he will just drink from the Chalice.
I watch with a cold smile as he sips the poisoned juice, loving how his look of suprise turns to pain, and then fear

I walk through the ally far away from the place,
He finally met his darkened end
Laughing to myself as his mother
Looks up to the sky, crying why lord why

As I walk to his funeral, the picture of borrowed kindness,
I remind his mother who looks around with broken eyes,
How she drove her son to suicide

Putting poisoned ideas and thoughts in his broken mind.
Waiting as she breaks down and accepts, how she killed her son, breaking spirit

I fade into the night wind, laughing maniacally as I take to the shadow.
With a crows wing I fly
With a ravens cackle I lie in the heart shadowed.
With black fire I wait in the darkness of the night.
Waiting to claim your broken
lies for the broken god in the earth.
