A Drop in a Bucket

Last night moonlight swam over the brimming surface of the water bucket. Now, sitting on a porch step, I'm watching high sunny showers form elliptical dewy spheres. One droplet falls into the rain bucket – just one. A ripple piddles over an edge. Breezes shake themselves dry. A thousand miles away a frog begins to sing to a puddle.
