A Dream That Once Was

A dream that once was.
That’s what we are
We don’t exist
Only in the past we were lovers.

A dream that passed
That’s what we are
We never were
It was a lucid dream too real

A dream that rushed
That’s what we are
We moved fast
Too fast for the relationship radar

A dream that once was
Turned into our worst nightmares
