A Dream of Reality

Her eyes are filled with hate,
                       With darkness and no faith,

In her hand was a knife,
She wanted to end my life,

Closer, she came to me,
But her face was unclear to see,

I knew this was the end,
There was nothing I could mend,

Frantically, she stabbed my heart,
                         Feebly, I fell apart,

I fell on the cold ground;
                          Loud noises concealed all sounds,

Blood submerged me,
My eyes were bleary, I couldn't see,

Suddenly, emerged a light,
Flooding the place, it was bright,

This light took away all the pain,
Like the sun it shined, on all the drops of rain...

Motionlessly, I lay on my bed,
With pain seeping upon my skin,
And a heart that bled...
