A Dream From the Angels

There was a dream I glanced upon
From out of nowhere it spawned
With swirling leaves across a lake
I looked like glass but was it fake?
I felt the rushing winds across my arm
It felt like summer but had fall charm

The leaves that spun where brown and lifeless
And the was no order in there likeness
Was it news from the Lord in heaven?
Judging the daylight it must have been seven
Where the angels singing
Were they watching while I was winging

Here I was above this wondrous place
Not a person around not even a face
Clear blue serenity scattered its hush
I know I wasn’t in a rush
To leave this place that I call home
For I know my heart at times may rome

So I fluttered down and bend my wings
With butterflies with colored rings
Emits the err I watch in white
Of shorter days and darkened nights
And pray I shall for this to end
That God has not called on me to send
