A Dream

Sleeping in the night
Haunted by fears
Hiding myself from this terrible sight
Searching for the healing light

A spark attracts my attention
An angel comes to me
“”Hey! Am drowning in your eyes”
Please save me
And then you whispered in my ears
“Where you lost???”

I took you to the meadows
Then to the golden fleeces
We talked a lot
In the lazy cold breezes

Look that beautiful horse
Covered with a blanket of snow
Waiting for us to have ride
Taking us to the mountains to show

We both are riding on the horse
Feeling the silence of mountains
I request you,
Let me feel you
Let me feel your breath
Let me sit near you
Until my death

My eyes are aching
And are filled with tears
My heart too
Just finding you
Everything seems blurred
I yelled “wait! Where are you going?”
But you disappear
Lost somewhere in these lofty mountains
And the mountains echoed…

A glass shattered on the ground
Made me awake from the dream
Then I realized
I’m not a prince
This isn’t a fairy tale
This is an unreal reality
Gifts you what we calls it as ‘pain’…………..

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
