A Dream

I had a dream of you last night and in my dream you held me tight. I felt the warmth of the breaths you took and it was as if we were in a love story book. I could hear the sound of your tender voice and I heard your whispers as a lover’s choice. I hope I’m not wrong and you feel it too, the warmth and sweet kindness and of course something new. I never imagined that this would take place, but I found it quite satisfying just the look on your face. The look in your eyes gave you away and I knew at that moment you wanted to stay. I am flattered yet breathless to the touch of your hand and there’s nothing I want more than you to know where you stand. I am faced with a decision that I’d rather not make for fear I am making the biggest mistake. I wonder about the future and how things will be, or if this is just something like a sweet fantasy. More questions without answers that only time will tell, but you were right there the moment I fell. This makes it much harder for me to decide, for a part of me has already died. I longed for attention and I waited for love, but this is something I could’ve only dreamed of. I opened my eyes from what I had dreamed, but then I remembered it was just as it seemed.
