A DRAMATIC PEDIGREE

sepia portraits
  litter my
                floor
resurrected
     dramas
         of others lives
lie
etched
       deep
         in their eyes-
I listen..
unheard sighs
 as
a voice
from
  their distant
            past
  pleading..

release me
  set me free
I'll
   fill
      in
the
   missing
           gaps
in
    your
bloodline
    genealogy
