A Dog Gone Tableau

Though he yapped and whined,
I still loved him so.
He was my dear friend.
He'd turned old and blind
when we let him go.
How can my heart mend?

It is always painful to see them go one day. Even after leaving these beautiful and loyal friends continue to live in our , memory for a very long time to come.
