A Do Or Die Affair
Broken and wounded with a bleeding heart,
And still gasping for breathe,
She forced out a smile and muttered something,
But that wasn’t my name,
An identity
The name sounds strange,
Undeniably, I was the only one there with her.
She asked,
“Will you die for me the day I will be sepulchered?”
No, I came to the world alone and can’t die for you,
A vehement answer
And again,
She beckoned on me to follow her,
Perhaps, there is a secret to be revealed,
I complied but didn’t see her as a wanderer,
She is mysterious
A couple of blocks away from where we stood,
A bright light flashed on a pavement littered with skulls,
Bones, diamonds, treasures, pen and papers,
She said, “Choose, it’s a do or die affair”
It was then I realized
That the war to become a prolific legend has just begun.
