A Distant Shore

A sunset, on a distant shore
I will make it....
To a place...
Where the light bathes me,
at the end of my journey
Seeing all that I saw

Clouds of red and pink
High above
I am no longer lost...
a sunset, on a distant shore
The minds' open door

The sun....
Lost in a shimmering haze
Clouds of red and pink...
Golden blaze...
The light is nearly done...
The sun, beginning to sink

I have seen...
All that I saw
The light, is nearly done
My journey...
Has begun...
The mind's open door

You may ask...
How do journeys begin?
When you see...
All that you can...
All that you saw...
Behind your mask...
Let it sink in...
Let it begin...
