'a Distant Recall'

her heart now scattered picture perfect memories a distant recall clinging to familiar things in pursuit of what makes sense

wilma, this sounds like you are describing alzheimers. Did i get it right?? (well, now that I think about it, it could also be someone simply with a broken heart!) In any event, very nice, Wilma.

Quite deep. Slightly veiled and yet so vivid! Excellent!

Reminds me of an elderly woman who has Alzheimer's, Wilma. She stays close to things that are "familiar" and "make sense," but sometimes rambles on about memories from youth. The stories seem to change all the time. Surely, this could be a poem about a lost love -- it just touched me in another way. Love, Carolyn
