A Different Way

Lord, I don’t understand it all…
We prayed for a miracle, you know.
And when it did not happen
It hurt so bad.
Why, Lord does he have to go?

Did we fail to pray long enough?
Tho, you said, ‘Don’t use vain repetition.”
So we just brought it to your attention, Lord,
And waited for an answer to our petition.

Lord, the Word says, “Lay hands on the sick.”
And that is what we have done…
We are expecting him to recover Lord
Maybe before the morning sun.

But if by chance you’ve planned a different way,
To answer our earnest request,
We ask for Grace to accept your way.
We know that you know what is best.

Beautiful poem, acceptance is higher that fight sometimes. Regards, Craig

Thank you Craig. Sometimes things are difficult to accept, but you have to trust God.
