A Detroiter's Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving done
Belly brimming
from that second bun
And I reckon the Lions won
Just kidding
One can hope for the Lions winning
But nope
At least the pie
and the roast beast and the rye
kept most spirits high
on this
our nation's celebration
of grateful, flavorful
bliss
