A Demand
She was sitting in a memorial park,
Her child was playing a side. When
He heard a noise, ran off and started to weep,
Mum, why didn’t my dad come home?
He was in army and a pilot, he added.
He was dead in a helicopter crash.
He is unable to understand it, and I
Can’t repeat all the time a same story.
When he will be grown up, he will understand,
Why am I helpless to complete his demand?
I know all may blame me to see his weeping,
They didn’t understand how am I facing all?
