A Defining Moment…
What is yet to come may very well prove to be,
The defining moment in our lives
The next and possibly last chapter
A defining moment in our lives…
Is it the answer to my prayers?
Have we reached the gate to hell?
What awaits us come the morning
What awaits after the tolling bell?
The rising sun, it is sure to come
But will it have the strength to save the day
Or will the dark clouds rise, please rise
And make me fight to light my way…
What is yet to come may very well prove to be,
A defining moment in our lives
The next and possibly last chapter
A defining moment in our lives…
I can’t believe some of the things I’ve seen
Can’t believe I may be part of a solution
What have I left; but for my soul redeemed
A survivor of the persecution?
I needed to change to see a change
Paint a vision shared by all
I close my eyes, I sign the cross
I hold on tight and pray
But I know tomorrow brings with it
A darkened sky…
So still, I will hold on tight and pray
