A Decreed Promise

To recall the response to a test I had taken I thought they were lying or even faking That I was going to have a child All I could do was turn wipe tears and smile Doctor had told me long ago I would not be able to conceive To my knowledge it only will take a seed Time to say Yes; mommy time to be A choice was given and chosen turned to me Said that this will be a shift in your life A beautiful baby boy who would stand and be quite A handful full of laughter and full of joy Hold on you will be cleaning up toys There will be times you may not understand remember when he walked late but late couldn't stand a chance How He began to pull down everything just like you he held a note and began to sing Tunes through the house to wake up everyone Yes he is, he is your son He is only five now and have many more years to turn But what you have been given is the time to be concerned He loves you now and forever will a perfection of growth honesty progression of will He will be determined to be an awesome child Until the turn from young adult to a man's manly smile remembering all that you have done teaching and training him in ways as a kingdom given son Remembering how you both were on the brink of death soothed by an armor dressed to thy self making sure the messenger had to take away his hands destiny was promised prophetically proclaimed across the land across the seas and galaxies of an all knowing One set in stone to bring to pass the birthing of your son remember always until the counting of the stars in the sky like Abraham the father of nations a guaranteed good bye a successor to pass on was given to you a son who the Father always knew he would fulfill the call the son of His son crossed line boundaries which blew pass rejections doubts and fears Mother you are a mother who stood still!
