A Decade of Writing
I've been writing for ten years today
I've written about everything,
I've penned poetry about God
the way it made my heart sing.
I've penned about the lost
of loved ones in the past,
written about broken hearts
and how children grow too fast.
I started off slowly
some didn't make any sense,
I had reached personal goals
it made me write more intense.
I've penned two books
one about nature, the other comedy,
other books are on the go
these words don't ever let me be.
I can't wait to write
for another ten years, if not more,
I don't care, if it makes me rich
but writing, I'll always adore.
