Salute, Salute, praiseworthy time and will you pass from ken?
With all your hoarded aspects oh! Do not I pray make end!
Acquaintance friend intriguing soul, with my clumsy
Style and mind, I know I cannot hold you'' here''
Yet stay with me and smile..!
Portray I ask the grace you hold,
Make free your inner truth, and in this I will find my rest,
Oh speak the days of my youth, the smell of linen clean and crisp,
And moistly sour suede hide, of earth damp dog, or candy floss,
And jolting roller coaster rides, azure blue seas from cliff top views,
under lazy clouds of white.
Stay here before my day is done,
At least don't leave me with the night,
Or better still envelope me within those times you keep,
That I may travel ever thus and never want to be released.
