A Days Events

A Days Events

shades of purple, hues of gray
glistening sun with dancing feet
sending time out marching fast
casting rays over seas of glass
children streaming before our eyes
changing swiftly like morning skies
hurling them out like spinning hair
strands woven through the empty air
gently lifting fragile broken pieces
whose spiraling fall only you could see
held together now with dripping tears
wishing time held back its turning face
leaving untouched life held fast in place
shades of blue, hues of brown
moon beams wrapped and hanging down
