A Daydream
He charges my world with his steamy charms;
lost in love's lane while in his gentle arms;
waves of warmth cocoons me, feeling no harm;
I sleep like a baby, not to be waken by morn-alarm...
I want to quit candy-dreaming about you,
wake me up Sweetie, tell me this is true!
You are the twinkling star in my twilight skies;
the splatter of sparkles stealing through my eyes.
I am lost in this plain, this must be paradise:
a world with a man so wonderful and wise.
I want to quit candy-dreaming about you,
wake me up Sweetie, tell me this is true!
I see boundless bloom in your flowery face,
you revive my soul with your warm embrace;
forever, I want to stay in the perfect place,
with faith, I ask God for endless grace.
I want to quit candy-dreaming about you,
wake me up Sweetie, tell me this is true!
I relish tonight your sugar-candy lips;
reminiscing the clips of our romantic trips.
The steady swirl and twirl at the seashore,
like Oliver twist, I desire more, and more...
I want to quit candy-dreaming about you,
wake me up Sweetie, tell me this is true!
