A Day To Play

A Day to Abandon Your cares; a day To run out in an Open field; a day to Play! Go where you want. Take a Liesurely walk or visit an Amusement park; see a show; take with You someone you love. Put your work away! Aug. 15, 2019 for Sheri Fresonke Harper's Invitation to Play Poetry Contest I played with two forms together: Acrostic and etheree, dividing the form into stanzas to break up each word in the titled phrase: A Day to Play. Also tried to get in a little rhyming!
