A Day of Chaos

A day of chaos,
A day of quarrel,
Oh the sleepless night,
That takes away the light,
Trying to make it right.

Even now silence as faded,
Trying to stay remote,
When tears pour out,
And emotions spout.

I try to console myself, but all is vain,
Eyes fill with tears like rain,
With a aching heart fiercely with pain,
Leaving emptiness, sadness.

All I need is a shoulder,
A nice warm hug to feel calmer,
Someone to wipe away the tear,
And say, 'My dear, I'm here.'
