A Day In Spring

The sun arose to welcome the notes
Of the soft rosebuds in spring
Clapping through the scented wind
A delicate joy proud glistening.

As idly we tread on the wet green
By the fountains and the stream
That dance upon the loving beam
Crystal spray that gently gleam.

You held me in your loving arms
To die within your tender charms
On your breast of warmth that calms
So sweet the kiss that love alarms.

So as we tread the vibrant noon
Amongst the lustre and the tune
Kiss me warm and give me soon
Loving tender on the naked moon.
