*Image of Beautiful Haku Lei by PIN. A Day In May May 1st is observed as "Lei Day" wholly o'er the Hawaiian isles, garlands on hula dancers sway as colorful flowers gift smiles. Haku is a lei meant, "to braid", opened ends with complex flowers like the "Bird of Paradise", weighed mass blends trim blooms crowning showers. 2022 May 10 *4th Place* A Lay for A Day In May ~~Andrea Dietrich: Judged 2022 May 15 *RZ; abab, cdcd, & HMS; 8 syllables x 8 lines

This is so beautiful. So glad to get acquainted with the custom of the Hawaiian islands of braiding flowers in the lovely fashion as the picture illustrates. Definitely a well deserved win, Williams and Congratulations!
