A Day At the Market

Today's a busy day in a small town Folk bustling around all sporting frowns Dozens of stalls, with beautiful displays Wonderful products with beautiful arrays Jewellery, so beautiful, stylish and cleverly made Woodcraft magnificent in the highest of grade Clothing made to perfection, lovely knitwear on show Dresses and skirts, how I wish I could sew The crocket and pottery is beautiful too I bought me a vase with flowers so blue Well times heading on, it's time to go home But I will be back, this market to roam

This is so fresh, delightfully done, and full of such "color" in the form of imagery, for some reason I thought it had been posted this week. It matters not, it is a "keeper" so beautiful, Vera! A Wow!

Thank you so much Andrea, yes I love markets, we have one here in our suburb every two weeks and it is amazing the things you can pick up, if I picked up everything I liked my home would be like a rubbish tip, hope you are well, take care my friend......Vera

Thank you so much Eve, I can't wait for the nicer weather so we can get out there to the markets, at the moment it is too wet and cold to go anywhere, all we seem to do is cuddle up and try and keep warm, we are having terrible weather at the moment, but as soon as it gets better we will be out there visiting the markets, love them, hope you are well take care my dear.........Vera

Thank you Nette, yes I love visiting the markets, we have one don the road from us every weekend, but every two weeks we have what we call a Swap Meet and they sell anything from Bric Brac and rubbish to Vegetables etc. which is a good one, it is amazing what you can pick up.. Hope you are well take care....Vera

I too love exploring markets or antique shops. You never know what kind of treasure you might find.

Hi Richard, yes it is amazing what you can find in these places, a few years back I started to collect Brass ornaments and the markets were the place to find them, mind you I gave up on it after a while as you can only have so many, hope you are well, take care......Vera

Thank you Paul, yes we also love the markets, we have normal weekend markets but we also have a fortnightly market which we call Swap meets and they sell anything and everything, so interesting what you can find, hope you are both well, take care.....Vera
