A Daughter Sent From Heaven

A daughter sent from Heaven
By Michelle Morris

You give meaning to my life
You're my special love
A daughter sent from Heaven
A blessing from above

I never thought we'd have this
It seems surreal and sublime
That despite all our obstacles
We are together across the miles

No space or time could keep us
From our joy and happiness
But there have been many moments
When I thought we'd missed our chance

Life is filled with many challenges
It can be difficult to navigate
But our ships left their harbours
And we found our chartered places

We will meet again one day
Hopefully sooner than another decade
I know that it is difficult
In a world shattered by a pandemic

For now, our souls reach each other
Via our Guardian Angels
And we feel our connection daily
When we accept our path is ageless

It is said that we choose our parents
That we choose our earthly roads
We know that there'll be challenges
We know that there'll be heartbreaks

But, even though I'd change
So many things if I could
I would never change you
Because you are my lifeblood

I love you to the moon and back
And beyond our Milky Way's glow
There is no place in the Universe
Where my love does not bless your soul

And no matter how long it takes
We will hug each other again
For God and His Angels guide us
Each moment on our journey

With love and hugs, always

This poem is a heartfelt and direct invitation to embrace spiritual awakening and connection. The repetition of "calling" and "knocking" creates a sense of urgency, as though the Divine is persistently reaching out, seeking entry into the heart. The simplicity of the words echoes the profound simplicity of faith itself—asking the reader to listen and open their heart to a deeper relationship with Jesus. The poem reminds us that the door to spiritual transformation is always there, waiting for us to respond and welcome grace into our lives.

I think you meant this lovely message to be for a different poem. But thank you all the same. Blessings and best wishes. :-)

This poem is a deeply heartfelt expression of love and connection, a tribute to a daughter who holds a sacred place in the speaker’s heart. The words convey both the pain of separation and the unwavering belief in a bond that transcends time and distance. There is a beautiful recognition of life's challenges and the assurance that, despite them, love endures. The imagery of Guardian Angels and the belief that souls are eternal offer a comforting sense of hope and peace, reminding us that love is never truly lost. It is a touching reminder of the power of love, faith, and the unbreakable connection between mother and daughter.
