A Crescent Smile

In the mood to play hide and seek
From behind the clouds she gives a peek
Behind the curtain of a veil of clouds
She calls and whispers, ‘Look up my dear,’’
I can see my face reflected inside you
Let me look at you with my light have no fear.
Your beauty I become in the silver of your hair
Oh wane I do, but don’t we all
She grows smaller every day this silver ball
She hides her face in shadowed parts
And has the power to break my heart
She was always a puzzle to me
Worthy enough to solve
Her crescent smile out at last
She’s mysterious again, her spell now cast.

I sure did wane. "Your beauty I become in the silver of your hair Oh wane I do, but don’t we all" so I have to say "yes! " Congrats on your win.
