A Coward Never Walks Away
He takes away part of your heart
And the pain does not depart
Spoken words that were cruel
How could you be such a fool
When he started the affair
You knew that it was there
But you looked the other way
Thinking it would just go away
His lust for her seemed to grow bolder
She was young you were much older
No guilty feelings in his mind
When he treated you unkind
A coward never walks away
And you never made him stay
Still he used the both of you
What fools we were we two
Soon he grew tired of her ways
Now at home he spends his days
So you and I we paid the cost
And a piece of our hearts were lost
If you read this take my advice
Love at times is not so nice
When they seek a piece of ass
Some men simply have no class
