A Countryside Walk
On my walk
a church bell rings
in the distance-
somewhere a blackbird sings
a rustle as wildlife scurries
a bright sun- in a cloudless sky
rolling hills
beneath me fields that are green
I relish natures wonders
all the world smells sweet
fragrance of the cows on yonder field
but, I journey to the city and home again
I think I may go back and visit again.
